BIOGRAPHY

Aisha Mariama Pereira Badji earned her BSc in Biomedicine from the University of Sk�vde and her Masters in Medical Science with specialization in Molecular Medicine from the University of Uppsala. For the past five years, she has held a position as Junior Researcher at Bandim Health Project (BHP) in Guinea-Bissau. Additionally, she has been coordinating collaborations between BHP and The Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, as well as with the Affinity Proteomics SciLifeLab, KTH - Royal Institute of Technology Sweden. Her research experience is mainly related to malaria, mosquitoes resistance to insecticides, breast and lung cancer, SARS-CoV-2, and development of industrial antibodies. Aisha is currently a MARCAD PhD Fellow from Guinea-Bissau, conducting research on malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). She is enrolled as a PhD candidate at the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
