The Institute continues to strengthen its support to and collaboration with the Women in Global Health Lusophone Community (WGH LC). IGHD facilitated the participation of four members of the WGH LC at the 2023 edition of the World Health Summit, in Berlin, Germany, 15-17 October. The World Health Summit (WHS2023) was an impressive 3 days of learning and networking opportunities, knowledge and experience sharing and mobilization of interested women to join the movement. It brought together over 3,000 participants from 106 countries, had 370 speakers (of which 52% were women) spread across 63 sessions, and 12,000 online viewers. WGH LC joined the Meet and Greet org used by the global movement of WGH and it’s members had the opportunity to meet members from several other Chapters around the world.
