Mashood DjaloÌ holds a masters in International Studies from the School of Sociology and Public Policy at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon. His research interests have centred on peace and security studies, particularly focusing on conflict resolution in West Africa. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations. Previously, he worked as a research assistant and project manager at Voz di Paz, a local NGO in Guinea-Bissau dedicated to conflict resolution. While living in Guinea-Bissau, he was a founding member of the youth association Netos di Cabral and an active member of several civil society organizations, including RENAJ, CONAEGUIB, and AJOC.
